UK Government releases USD10.8 billion in additional funds directed towards Hydrogen projects

The decision is part of the ambition to increase the production of green hydrogen (by electrolysis of water using electricity from renewable sources).

The government aims for the UK to have 1GW of electrolysers in operation or under construction by the end of 2025 and to increase hydrogen production to 10GW by 2030.
