National Energy Balance

Energy Research Company (EPE) releases National Energy Balance BEN 022/2021. Synthesis report presents important information for those involved with energy in the country.

A relevant fact is the worsening in the share of renewables in our energy matrix, caused by the water crisis last year. However, we do very well compared to international standards.

Delivery of the water source should continue to fluctuate as global weather conditions worsen. EPE participates in the National Reservoir Recovery Plan, pursuant to Law 14,182/21, as a way of mitigating such effects.
