With a portfolio of 1.7 GW of onshore wind and solar generation in Brazil, including projects in operation, under construction or authorized, French EDF Renewables, an arm of EDF, is now targeting hybrid projects that combine offshore wind and green hydrogen (H2V) in the country.
Globally, the EDF group expects to reach 3 GW in electrolysis capacity by 2030, including the production of green hydrogen (from renewable energies) and pink hydrogen (through nuclear energy).
