In the quest to achieve carbon emission reduction targets, countries are rushing to decarbonize their economies and hydrogen appears as a great alternative to replacing fossil fuels.
Considered the cleanest, or the one with the least emissions, green hydrogen, made from the electrolysis of water with renewable energy, appears as the favorite. However, the very high cost and the technological difficulty for scaling its production remain a challenge.
