Brazil launched in 2022, from January to October, no less than 114 different models of light electrified vehicles (hybrid and plug-in electric), produced by 39 companies.
The expansion of the offer already brings the Brazilian market closer to the European market, for example, which offers between 150 and 200 models of plug-in electric vehicles.
The variety of options available to Brazilian buyers (see table), although not all models are available for immediate sale, can be measured by the evolution of the market in the last six months.
In May, according to a survey by ABVE Data, there were exactly 70 electrified light vehicle models on the market.
